LOL.....my son and I used to keep a "Rice Rocket" tally on car trips. Here in the Bay Area you see all sorts of souped up stuff...some if it is really funny, actually.

My first car was a '67 bug. At the time it was 10 years old IIRC. Had a handful of bugs over the years, fun cars. But not all that comfortable.

Toss-up - Aston Martin DB9 or Vanquish, or Ferrari FF (yes, I might be the only person around who actually likes the FF!)
That said - if I had a much smaller budget (but still way more than I actually have) I'd be perfectly happy with:
- A well-restored MG-TC or TD, and
- As a daily runner, I'd take the new Tesla S - the 2016 model, which smokes a Corvette.

Yes but is it the 2015 Z06 Corvette with 650 bhp from the supercharged LT4 aluminum 6.2L V-8 engine (price 79000 versus the model SP85D 106000). The Tesla model S P85D 0-60 is 3.2 sec, the 2015 Z06 0-60 is 2.95 sec.
