Awesome. One of my favorite discoveries of last year.

Wow! They just keep getting better!

I pre-ordered a few days ago. It's nice personally for me to see my best friend in the band, Eirik get to sing lead on the middle section. My late geezerette and Eirik's wife Gry had a special friendship.

This sounds very nice. Very much in the vein of the first two albums, though I really think I should give "The Suffering Joy" another chance.

I personally think it's their best. Each LP has shown growth and increased maturity - this is the fruition of their considerable promise.

    (Yeah, I kinda like it.)

Looking forward to hearing Geezer's impressions. I still need to get up to speed with this band. Maybe on tomorrow's commute ( for starters).

    You rang!

It just came in the mail today and I'm not even through all of it yet (life got in the way, damnit!). Initial impressions (very consciously trying to remain objective) are that the new keyboard player is a nice fit, and perhaps a little more flashy than Gilbert was. I was a huge Allan Olsen fan (Motions & Circus's lead singer), and while Eirikur is a very good singer, he really seems to come into his own in terms of really "getting" the band more on this album than The Suffering Joy.

The 4 & 5 part vocal harmony is more prevalent on this album than the 3 that came before. Maybe they're listening to two bands a bit south of them, Moon Safari & Dynamo Bliss and thought "we're capable of that, let's do it".

Rich Mouser's mixing makes all the difference. This album sounds the best of all of them.

Damn, I love this band. Awaiting the arrival of the new CD
I really thought "The Suffering Joy" was their best work, but this video has me quite excited.
