Title track of Sconcerto by Il Baricentro. The rest of the album has grown on me, but nothing is as exceptional as that astounding opening track.

I must add Amon Duul's Wolf City( Surrounded by the stars)
Err..for me Tarkus, CTTE, Gates are not just 'songs', but nevermind, it depends on terms we use.

I assume you are referring to Echoes, which is a fine epic. However, I think it is too long and drawn out. If it was more concise, I would like it better. In any case, "One of These Days" is one of my all time favorite PF tracks.

Cirkus the best song on Lizard?? Hmmm...

    Anyway:

Anthony Phillips - Back To The Pavilion: Scottish Suite (or just part one even, 'Salmon Leap')
Led Zeppelin - Presence: Achilles' Last Stand
    Renaissance - Prologue: Prologue
Fleetwood Mac - Future Games: Woman of 1000 Years
Gentle Giant - In A Glass House: The Runaway
King Crimson - Islands: Formentera Lady (maybe, tough call there. Love the title track too)

There's a lot more I think, for some reason can't think of them at the moment.

I may be the only one who doesn't think Echoes is the best track on Meddle, but that still means you can't say "everyone".

    Hmmm...

The Moody Blues - Question (A Question of Balance)
The Moody Blues - Lost in a Lost World (Seventh Sojourn)
Peter Gabriel - Moribund the Burgomeister ('1')
Mike + the Mechanics - Nobody's Perfect (The Living Years) (TBH this is probably only cos i've heard the title song so many times)
No-man - Angel Gets Caught In the Beauty Trap (Flowermouth)
Nosound - Some Warmth into tthis Chill (A Sense of Loss)
Steven Wilson - Harmony Korine (Insurgentes)
Anathema - Untouchable Pt. 1 (Weather Systems)
Sebastian Hardie - I Wish (Blueprint)
Propaganda - A Dream Within a Dream (A Secret Wish)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

For the record, I think OOALH is in the bottom rung of the tracks from 90125. I don't hate it, but I find it rather ordinary. My favourites from that album are "It Can Happen" and "Leave It".

Come on, this has to be a joke! That whole album blows, doesn't it? Or have I been wrong all along?

I probably like 'A Pillow Of Winds' the most, with Echoes and One Of These Days a close 2nd and 3rd.

Not even close to being the "best" track on that album. Nat. Sci., Jacob's & Freewill all smoke it.
