Man, that sounds like an email from Tavour trying to get me to buy the latest hottest barrel aged Stout!
I've seen shows at a supper club. It's weird, for me, and I can only guess how it must be for the performer.
FWIW, there's already been a The History Of British Progressive Rock Of The Eighties by Francois Guirin and Andre-Francois Ruaud. Took me forever to land that one. Also, in the 90s, David Robinson...
^ Have fun Greg!
^ Is that good?
Most entertaining thread on PE.
As I do yours, Gary. Keep on watching Steeleye and IQ doings for me. Valuable info.
Isn't that funny? Your body starts letting you down, but on the...
Speaking of MIA...Chris, aka Firth hadn't posted in a while, as far as I could tell, so I went to try and see when his last post/check in was. I couldn't find him at all in the member list. Which I...
Not just for yourself.
That was the first thing I tried, but it had no effect. I got there by clicking the Other Items tab, which loaded, and then clicking the CDs tab, which loaded. Strange voodoo.
You should!
^ I can't get anything other than the headers to load. I'll stick with it or try later.
^ Such is life in 2024.
Does the lyric "Jeremy spoke in class today" ring any bells? That song was hard to avoid when the album came out.
^ Thanks Steve. I am going to lock in.
I tend to like my fantasies, but thankfully, none involve Beardfish. ;) :bad
I'm pretty sure I got mine from Bandcamp, but it may have been a pre-order.
I fully intend to make my first Cruise To The Edge. I take it they're already taking reservations for next year?
The Jam Band they had at the HOMES Brewing anniversary in Ann Arbor this past weekend had a tip jar. They even passed it around near the end of the 3rd set. It looked like they did pretty well with...
I think somewhere in the lyrics is "ME262 it's a German jet."
^ They sure know how to pair you with the headliners.
This isn't the first time these questions have been asked on PE. I recall a member from a western state (Cali?) trying to have a brainstorm session around the subject of gigging/touring/viability.
Not a fan of the Browns draft. It's the last year of not having a first rounder, but I don't think they did as well under the circumstances as they did the last 2 years. I got the impression that...
I decided a re-watch was in order, so went to add it to my Prime watch list. Done, and it turns out they did a sequel a few years after the original. Not only that, but an MST3K was done in '96.
...
Well, now that we've all come to agreement...
I love that album. I'll give it a listen, and if I like it, I'll buy it.
I gotta say, Nick Saban's insights on the draft show last night and tonight are next level. Terrific insight.
^ He was a 6 year college kid, Vic. He's old for a draft pick, and then he's going to sit for 3 years? Doesn't make sense.
I've been retired since August '21. I'm living my best life. Concerts and breweries and beer festivals. Life is awesome.
^ To be fair, it sounds like they changed Springsteen's original lyric.
Don't forget Titstalker, I mean, Deathstalker.
Beastmaster was the one with the ferrets following the dude around, wasn't it? Corny AF, but I remember liking it at the time.
Not much of a crowd in the rain, but Guards roll on. 17-6 now.
^ Shouldn't that be in the woodworking thread? :bad ;)
^ Avast keeps trying to get me to upgrade from the free version, telling me that I'm visible wherever I go on the Web. The stupid thing can't even tell that I'm using a VPN.
I heard him on CCM radio back around 83-85. Milquetoast flavored with saccharine.
I use PayPal and Venmo. No complaints with either.
^ Closely following the Cavaliers, per usual.
Wild and entertaining game in Winnipeg. And how about that Verhaeghe goal for Florida? Sneaky AF!
One of my favorite players when I first started following the NFL, along with Lance Rentzel, and Lance Alworth.
Say Lvie.
^ Really? I find them to be close to the Ozrics. Really good, but...sepia...?
Although I like Discipline, I'm not a huge fan of 80s Crimson in general. I'm going to see what Belew and Vai do. I'm hoping they get their freak on. Big time.
^ I expect you need the proper hardware...The proper hardware being very long fingers.
Best of luck, Lou and Steve.
^ Ah...It sounds like they lack the infrastructure for a major league franchise.
^ Why are they bothering to sell and move at all? Just award the Salt Lakers an expansion team.

^ Thanks for the killer Solstice vid. The young lady has an incredible voice. I'm gonna have to find the CD in my stacks, and give it some repeated spins.
^ I plan on seeing it this week.
Best wishes for a successful surgery, and positive health outcome.
^ I like it, but it's not in my AP pantheon.
^ Liking that vid, dropforge. I briefly considered going to Detroit on Friday for their show, but had a 2 hour drive both ways on Thursday, and just wasn't up for it. Hopefully I'll get another...
Just Bach and Wagner. By law.
Agree. I bought it upon release, and they were my main band at that point. Didn't hate it, but it was a big disappointment. 2112 helped level me up, though.
The last one's definitely real. He became so famous in his own country, that he was able to go by the single name Dick, much like Madonna or Beyonce. However, his full name was Dick McSchlong.
^ :up Looking fwd.
3 pieces, with variation between the tracks. Take advantage of some different moods and approaches.
Lots of fondling action, I would expect.
That's the rub, isn't it?
I enjoyed the track, especially the uptempo, somewhat propulsive portion near the end. If you had a whole album of this on Bandcamp, I would buy it.
