Welcome to PE. If you want to watch old men argue about old musicians, you've come to the right place!

The elephant9 was released in 2015 (but maybe not the US). The Jambinai is really good. Besides Hackett, they also have a 'Genesis' album.
The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off
Wow. I don't think I've ever seen RS promote such a progressive batch of albums at the same time.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

“Remember, if it doesn't say "Cuneiform," it's not prog!” - THE Jed Levin
Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]
"Death to false 'support the scene' prog!"
please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.
Presumably its fashionable to like a former band member recreating his old prog tunes or RS wouldn't have even mentioned Genesis let alone Steve Hackett. For decades, RS buried anything and everything prog.
"It's hard to say exactly when Scandinavia grabbed the prog baton from England..."
Safe to say it was over 20 years ago though...
(Emphasis mine.)The last one, chronicled on this live LP, mixed in old-school solo tunes like "Ace of Wands" and "A Tower Struck Down" with an entire set of 1970s Genesis super-deep cuts like "Aisle of Plenty," "Can-Utility and the Coastliners" and "Get 'Em Out By Friday."
What a weird song to mention. I guess it is technically a deep cut, but it's like lauding Paul McCartney for playing "Wild Honey Pie."
"Arf." -- Frank Zappa, "Beauty Knows No Pain" (live version)
It's a trick. They're going to lure us in, pretend to like our magic act, get our guard down, and then pants us during assembly.
