Paolo Vinaccia - Very Much Alive
Direct link to slipped on a bar in case anyone wants to purchase it, since the front page of Berne's site seems to have gotten hosed while he's out on tour. (as far as I can tell; I haven't read anything)

Joke or no joke, what would have been an A+ live album earned a C+ from me, thanks to Simon LeBon's voice cracking on many songs and singing flat in spots.... other than that, the band is smoking on the album and further demonstrates their ability to clock with a metronome live as an arpeggiator is used on just about every track

I almost asked if this was limited to official releases, but I just assumed it is. I have some great bootlegs too.

I just got my hands on the new SACD 4.0 quadrophonic version of Santana's Lotus. Man, this sounds as if it was recorded today!
My love for Santana's music was at its highpoint in the late Seventies, so this is a fine trip back into history.

So I take it they didn't overdub Simon's vocals, huh? Maybe somebody forgot to tell them it was ok it do a few overdubs.

But I can't believe I left Dire Straits Alchemy, Uriah Heep Live, Frampton Comes Alive, and This Is Hawkwind Do Not Panic off my list.

Looking at these lists with all these live jazz recordings and man, I really need more money.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

I need more money too, but in my case, it's so I can add another case to my modular synth.

And dammit, I still forgot One Night At Budokan by Michael Schenker Group!

My vote for two of the best live concert videos. I generally don’t care for music/concert videos, but these are musts. Mind you, I don’t actually own a copy of Home of the Brave the movie. For some reason, it’s become rare, despite being one of the best things ever. I actually have Shadows and Light on laserdisc!

I so don’t understand the appeal of this one. Is it the between-song patter? Because apart from that and the extended “Ashes Are Burning,” the tracks are indistinguishable from their studio counterparts. That is utter pointlessness in a live album!

They loved them some Jupiter 8, didn’t they? Wish I had one.
