    Prog-related cell phone cases

Anyone have any good sites to grab some prog-rock related cell phone cases? Specifically looking for Samsung Galaxy cases and wondering who's had luck at some decent sites?

I still have my clamshell Startack. (Motorola).. though I must say that it's been acting up of late... so I'm considering the low-priced Samsung (also a clamshell)
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Its not prog that I need to install aps & iTunes to get/make a ringtone (I have iPhone) Rather uncool.
On android I can just edit the file and email it to myself, save and chose.

^^ More to the point, I cannot imagine anything that is more diametrically opposed to the very ethos of "prog", than a mobile phone ringtone. A sound bite intended to last only a few seconds, that says "Answer the phone and make me stop".

Ummm, I believe the original post referred to "cell phone cases" not "cell phone ring tones."

You are correct, but... what the hell IS a prog related cell phone case? One that's designed by Roger Dean?

I've seen ones that exactly match the design of the cover of The Beatles' "white album". Some people say the Beatles were progressive, so perhaps that qualifies.

Mine looks just like the cover of Spinal Tap's "Smell the Glove"

'Prog' phones have epic ringtones with mellotrons and shifting time signatures, I'd imagine. My phone (post #3) can only choose among a few different sequences of beeps. This one's from '02. I keep my original analog cell phone from '93 on my desk at work in case I need to crack walnuts, or something. It's older than a few of the people here.

I can just picture this in my head now: a cellphone case with a picture of a little girl holding a croquet mallet.

In the 'old days' you could even compose a tune on yout phone and use that:
Here is som Kraan ringtones made that way: http://www.danbbs.dk/~m-bohn/kraan/info.html#mobile

They sound is horrible, but even those with damaged hearing will recognize that the phone is ringing

Yea, those were the days, back in the late 90s I had a Sony Eriksson that had a keboard that you could do that on.

Here's a site that has lots of music related cases. I saw some Kansas covers, but I bet there are others.

I would also guess that there are some places that will take a picture you submit and make a custom cover for you.

Not to mention the community organizer one.

I just use an MP3 from my phone's media library (currently Stereolab's Kyberneticka Babicka, which cuts through any background noise) or else I use Audacity to cut the bits I want out of a track and save them as MP3s.

    Exactly.

Currently using the into to Yes' "Changes," as it sounds like a ringtone.
