"MARKLAR!"
Finally!
Kirk Douglas is still around. Maybe he's the last major player from Hollywoods Golden Age left?
RIP Mickey Rooney. Liked his work as an adult better than the Andy Hardy type stuff. Bridges At Tokyo Rio is excellent. As is his turn in Breakfast At Tiffany's. Theres more.............
I peferred Mikey in his "young man" roles. My fav was when he was shipped off to boarding school in England & all the pranks he got up to.
I was a big fan too. Especially his 1930s films. My favorite is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. He was criticized for taking a heavy handed approach to his roles but that was what made him popular and he knew it. He really loved his work.
RIP

Great actor and one of the few guys (Johnny Carson and Michael J. Pollard being two others) that no matter how old they got, they still had baby faces.

Looking forward to my day in court.
Sad day. His early movies were a constant in my early years.
I've got a bike you can ride it if you like
20 yrs ago I'm sitting around with GF and her parents, Mickey Rooney comes up in the discussion. "Is he still alive?" I ask. Dirty looks all around. (BTW- Some writer from the TV show Two and a Half Men MUST know that ex-GF of mine, she was EXACTLY like Rose -esp how she dresses !!)
