That's funny. I was watching WKRP last night on Antenna TV, and sure enough they played that episode. I crack up when I hear Les Nessman saying "OOh the humanity" as the turkeys are falling. That was a great show.

FWIW, turkeys can fly a limited extent. My older son chased one that was in our neighbor's yard and it flew up into a tree to escape.

And they make a lot of noise flying in the woods ! It's peacefully quiet, and then - suddenly it's like a 747 taking off !
