New Happy the Man song coming soon!!!

    Per their brand-new Facebook page:

"Stanley wanted to reform the band. He called original members Michael Beck, Rick Kennell and Ron Riddle. They were all enthusiastic about creating some new music. Stanley wrote a new song titled; Only Love which will officially release on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 15."

A completely welcome but unexpected reunion, especially given Stanley's recent health issues.

In answer to a question about keyboards (this is Stanley's wife):

"If you mean did Stanley ask Kit or David to step up here, the answer is no. Ron Riddle has serious orchestration skills (also a little known fact a talented piano player) and he created work on this piece is quite impressive.
As many know Stanley played note for note with much of the keyboards of the original music. He has described feeling trapped between walls of keyboards and has been looking forward to feeling liberated. We hope all will be open minded to new music as the progressive elements are found here as well."

Well, this time around, it's two kits and no Kit... ;-)
Seriously, though, when Stanley was interviewed and announced this a few months ago in a YT interview, he did mention that Ron's role was more in the orchestration department, so I would expect all the drumming to be Beck's.

Beck back in the mix is very interesting.

The reissue not happening yet may have had to do with the unexpected discovery of the multitracks for "Crafty Hands".

Speaking of HTM, did that new Leah Waybright album ever come out?

They chose a perfect day to release it. The artwork is perfect for the day and for the tune.
You are in for a treat, kids.

Stan really belts it out on this one. It really is a different sort of song for them, but it has all the HTM DNA.

I'm excited. I just recently started listening to The Muse Awakens and I think it may be my favourite record after the self-titled, so I have high hopes for more modern HTM.

I noticed Gary Blu, who's on Leah Waybright's albums playing horns, flute etc., is taking over Frank's saxophone-role in the band, while also playing bass-clarinet.
