I have the last 40 issues of ROM - and those are the only comics I have that Ditko drew.

I had the toy at one point too

My very first pro job in comics was coloring Rom Annual #2. A real trial-by-fire!

Fun fact: Frank Miller drew (Joe Rubinstein inked) the cover of #1! My favorite art in the series was done by the triple threat of Sal Buscema, Brian Akin & Ian Garvey.

They also did the art on the annual I colored. At the time I was 1 of the several folks who were called "Ben Sean."

It kinda reminds me of David Sylvian's Approaching Silence.

AKA Barry Grossman? That's a trip. I figured Bill S. colored his own cover, so I was wondering about the interior credit, haha.

Man, I love those insane textures by Akin & Garvey. Their original art is amazing. They did this Iron Man piece that's one of my favorite images of Shellhead.
