Something had to have happened in that Eagles locker room right around the 49ers loss because they've been in a tailspin ever since. Just a gutless performance. I can't imagine Sirianni keeping his job after backing into the playoffs and then phoning-in last night's game.
Yeah, Tampa wasn't exactly awesome, and the Lions will most likely decimate them. I'm just glad Mayfield got the opportunity and the win...even if his time is short.

Man, I don't even know what to say about the Eagles. I don't know that I've ever seen such a collapse. The only bright spot in last night's game is that it should have been embarrassing enough to bring major changes.

Rooting hard for Steve's Lions now. And probably Buffalo.

^ You live pretty close to Baltimore. I'm sure there's a story behind that rooting order.

I'm kinda rooting for Baltimore to lose the Super Bowl in overtime on a missed pass interference call.

    Ed, of course.

No, seriously I just never cared for them. I grew up in NW PA and they will always be the team that left Cleveland to me. I wish them well, and like Lamar, but meh. Go away now.

Bad news. The Chefs-Fins game had 23 million viewers on Peacock, making it the most watched streaming event ever in the US.

Well, I'm being generous. Also, I think they pick sites and contracts a few years out. But I could be wrong.

Rooting for a Lions vs Packers NFC final. I am a Lions fan of course, so if they both win this weekend it would be another home game for Detroit. I am also married to a Cheesehead so have to root for the wife’s team on occasion. We are actually going to be in Wisconsin this weekend. In the AFC I don’t really have a preference, but I think the Ravens are the team to beat.

PPV greed killed boxing in this country. I couldn't even tell you who any of the champs are right now, and I used to follow it pretty close.

Which is a shame, because there are some generationally great fighters active today, but you have to seek them out or you'd never know it.

Only good thing is that it was, by far, the least viewed playoff game. The top game had 40 million.

That's exactly the comparison I'd make. Boxers were minor celebrities when I was a kid. Then PPV would eventually all but erase boxing from the public consciousness.

Growing up in my era we had Ali, Forman, Frazier, Norton, Hagler, Herns, Leonard, the Spinks brothers, Duran, Macho Comacho, Tyson, Holmes, and many others. Boxing was a big deal. Today it is completely off my radar. Everything went pay per view and I lost track of all of it. Sad……….

I still think Hagler won that fight against Leonard. And Hearns vs Hagler is still the best 3 rounds of boxing ever. Grew up with this stuff...it was great back then.
