Not sure why tracks from Exit would be performed in a 1978 show. Thinking that's incorrect.

The Fessbinder show was and is excellent even with very bootleg quality.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Great news. This has been on my wishlist for quite a while now. Second hand copies cost more than I'm willing to pay. I wonder what took them so long to reissue this. Volume 1 came out years ago.

The original release on Castle has tracks 3-7 from disc 4 on disc 6.

Are these reissues of the Tangerine Tree from back when? Iirc, those were reissued officially, and had great sound. Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with TD releases.

Seems like I know a lot of people who were at the Lisner Auditorium show. The intro at the beginning of side one of Encore, as well as, I believe, side two, came from the Lisner show.

Like a 60's Velvet Underground show in New York, everyone who was there started his own band.

Something tells me the bands who were formed after going to a Tangerine Dream, were a lot better than the ones that were formed after seeing VU. Also, in the case of VU, I contend (and I forget who actually originally put forth this hypothesis, but I agree with it) roughly half the VU audience actually became pretentious, snot nosed critics who spent the next 30 years kvetching about how VU about the fact that Deep Purple and Kiss were more famous than VU.

Oh shit! Nice. I was all out of hope these things were going to continue. Seems a long time since the bootleg box or a bootleg series set was released.

    I am in of course.

I saw them around that time with my girlfriend, who is my wife now. I thought I saw them at the Warner Ampa theater. Excellent laser beam show. I have some really good pictures of Edgar when he came out to play the guitar.
