I have to say that when I listen to some new, interesting rock band from the UK I get pretty excited. And this bunch here definitely deserves the tag "interesting", to say the least. Eclectic and unpredictable, they cover with great ease the whole range of rock music from song to song: 60's psych, progressive, heavy blues rock, space rock - you just don't know what to expect at each corner. But they never sound retro - it is here, it is now, fresh, goofy and creative.
Track The Ballade of Layser Manne is a moving ballad, drenched in mellotrons, reminiscent of The Horrible Who's glorious moments.
Bought the double vinyl and enjoying as hell. Lots of promise there. Anyone else bumped upon them? (here's the bandcamp link https://thehareandhoofe.bandcamp.com...hare-and-hoofe
