Hermeto Pascoal e Grupo - No Mundo dos Sons
Discipline - Captives Of The Wine Dark Sea

Crap... Two that I was considering for this thread are actually both listed as 2016:
Art Griffin's Soundchaser - Visions from the Present
Eye - Vision and Ageless Light

So I'll go with Bubblemath Edit Peptide for my #3.

Note I still have a lot to buy from 2017: Thinking Plague, Deluge Grander, SchnellerTollerMeier, a.o. So all this might change.

Been meaning to pick this one up. I've seen it crop up in more than one list here. So it's pretty good?

New Hermeto album is frikkin' awesome, if you dig his last few "E Grupo" releases you should feel right at home.

I speak it a little. I am actually American. I chose my username for the Welsh phonetics to indicate my ethnic background.

I've actually never listened to Hermeto Pascoal, but everything I've read about him makes me very interested in trying out some of his music.

Cool. Fascinating language. I'm American, and mostly "ethinically" English/Scots-Irish but with some Welsh in there somewhere, or so we think. Diolch!

Well, the new one would be a great intro, and not terribly extreme. I know folks who were put off by, say, "Slave's Mass," where Hermeto plays, among other things, a baby pig.

    My top three:

    Big Big Train - Grimspound

Wobbler – From Silence to Somewhere

Discipline – Captives of the Dark Wine Sea

    And three thereafter:

    Bent Knee – Land Animal

King Crimson – Live in Chicago

    Agusa - Agusa
