I'm speechless really. I don't know what to think of this.
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

This news kinda bums me out, to be honest.

Yeah, this makes perfect sense...keep the live guy from playing real music and roll out a hologram. The FZT is fucked....

I have a morbid curiosity to see something like this if it ever came around locally but I can't help but have a really weird feeling about this and I'm certain FZ wouldn't be on board with this at all.

This should keep them involved in law suits for the rest of their lives.

This may be the truest thing you have ever posted on PE.

Is anyone here at PE a scriptwriter? This hologram thing might make a good horror movie. Imagine the holograms going rogue and causing all sorts of chaos. The final conclusion would be "leave them alone and let them rest".

Elvis' Coat was a great success, so why not this?

Well you could START by asking, if somebody was never filmed for a hologram, can they be projected as one?

And he lists DZ as a "committed musician" as if they are best buds - its really mind boggling and gets sadder and now its starting to enter the creepy category.

I suspect Dweez will make a statement against this whole thing soon.

If this is actually real, all that comes to mind is WTF? Dweezil had this stuff handled until they started getting in the way - his shows have been fantastic over the years.

    Ugh.

It's probably just the Dweez's hologram that has committed.

The fans will see right through that.

Link to the Dio hologram that the same company did is in this article also. Looks pretty Disney Haunted House-esque.

Actually this one looks a little better:

During the 2018 tour, a hologram Bowie will hire Belew again.

I've got it on good authority that this is indeed legit. So with that in mind... Proceed to the next round of speculation.

Family alliances/wondering aside, I'd go see that batch of alumni play that music again even if they did it around a framed pic of Frank, much less a snazzy hologram. That's the best collection of alumni signed up for any Zappa related event since his death. Correct me if I am wrong.....
