Sometimes these things have to be brought to our attention.

Listen everyone, we keep politics and religious discussion out of the forums for good reason. They are more personal to people than even musical tastes and discussions can get incredibly divisive, heated, emotional, and hateful.

Even though we don't allow that discussion here and most people who post here know this, it only takes a whiff of sarcasm or an insult to start a down this path. I've seen it over and over and many can't control themselves. Unfortunately popular media and social media are obsessed and saturated with daily political news and discussion, and it has helped to contribute to a society that is now wound up and volatile, ready to snap at the smallest provocation. It's unfortunate, but it is the current state of things.

Anyway feel free to go to Facebook or your favorite comments section to release this aggression, but keep it off PE. Let's confine our confrontations to more important topics like "who should have the rights to the name YES".
