    Magma TOUR updates!

Well, it looks like Magma will be playing a few more North American gigs, other than just the Las Vegas festival. So far, Montreal August 22nd, and Toronto, August 20th have been announced (although Toronto is not on the tour page yet). Perhaps, there will just be Canadian dates. Let's see.

I read on their FB page that there will be no additional US dates this year. Apparently, their contract for Psycho Fest states that that can be their only US date in 2017. They said they hoped to do more dates in the US in 2018.

That's a hell of a long way to travel with that many people to only play one show. Unless they view it as a way for the band to all get a paid vacation in Vegas (/pictures Christian camped out at the craps table. )
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

That was a huge bummer, guess we won't see it in 2017 either.

I see they are playing Roadburn again this year. Must have went over well!

    I guess that's why they're playing three.

Well, I sure hope they're being paid well to play just one Stateside show.

How come the Toronto listing has been taken down both from Chris' post above and on the FB post the band made? I was thinking it's cancelled.

See ya there buddy! Unfortunately I will be heading straight from work to the venue so no time for a pre-show dinner with you and your lovely wife... Bob will look after you though.

Got tickets for Montreal. Anyone knows if the venue has seating or if it's standing only?

I believe it varies from show to show but I am thinking Magma will be a standing-only show. This is a very small venue...

I have purchased a ticket for Montreal, because I decided I really needed to see this band a 10th time.

Looking forward to it! My wife decided not to go to this show when I said we were driving back the same night. Instead it will be my friend Steve and my son, neither of whom are really fans of Magma....yet.

Edit: Oh yeah - hopefully I don't have an anxiety attack on this trip to Montréal. The last one sucked, lol.

I just feel like this is the time they're really going to get MDK right!

Excellent show in Toronto on Sunday night - I've only seen them 4 times so not in Sean's league but it was the most intense version of MDK I've seen.

They started with Emehntett-Re, then MDK and encored with a mostly vocal piece I didn't know but enjoyed.
