Is there a Discogs like site for DVD's?

I like the combination of cataloging a collection in the cloud with the buy/sell option that Discogs has. I have a small sized DVD collection, mostly television shows and mini-series rather than movies. RYM allows DVD cataloging, but it's movies only - and very general at that.

Anything like that out there? A cursory search yielded me little.

    Cataloging:
    http://www.collectorz.com/movie/
    http://www.imdb.com/

    Buying/selling:
    Amazon

Not aware of any site that does both.

Thanks Rob for the response! It's not obvious to me how to catalog ownership on IMDB? I could just be slow here. The Collectorz thing looks like software rather than cloud/website, but I could be wrong. And yea, Amazon/ebay of course for selling. Hmmm. Wish there was something that combined both. Thanks again though.

Letterboxd - allows you to list movies and reviews, and import imdb. I don't know about TV shows.

Flickster.com - allows movie list and reviews. I don't see one that allows TV shows, don't know why. Seems pretty natural.

Instantwatcher.com - has a pretty good data base for watching/streaming movies, though it's not complete for older films, or reviews.

    Here's a few more ideas.

RYM are working on a new site which will have a dedicated movie section, if I'm not mistaken. May be more like what you're looking for than the current site, but I don't know the details (or when it will go live).

would be nice if there was one like discogs that could list the various different dvd/blu ray releases and which ones have the most features etc. sometimes I have buyers remorse when I buy a cheap dvd/blu ray only to discover a more extensive version was available. I generally do a cursory discogs look before buying music just to make sure there isn't some weird version with more tracks etc.

and don't get me started on various retailer exclusive things!

As long as they are full music DVDs you can catalogue them on Discogs and the rest could be added to https://www.filmo.gs/ but that is still very much in beta.

My girlfriend wanted a 24 DVD set, so I found this site. Quite a bit cheaper than Amazon, plus free shp. https://pristine-sales.com/

Good sites for sure, though not exactly what I'm looking for. I do appreciate the response though!

Yep, Sonemic. I have hopes for sure, since I'm an active RYMer. For now, they're fine for rating movies (like the above links would allow for). But not good for cataloging DVDs, reselling, and no TV shows/series.
