Mik Kaminski from heyday ELO - violin (got to meet him --- very pleasant)
Louis Clark ( I consider him an original member) - Played additional string and choir embellishments on a Korg Triton
Louis Clark, Jr. (^his son!) on cello and acoustic guitar
Eric Troyer from ELO Part II on keys/vox
Glenn Burtnick from later era Styx on bass/vox ( I talked to him -- cool and funny guy)
Parthenon Huxley on guitar/vox ( also a cool guy)
Gordon Townsend on drums (also a cool guy -- played a 4-piece kit)

Cool. I still can't believe Kaminski is not being included in the Hall Of Fame induction. Criminal if you ask me.

Not a surprise. When Louis Clark came in, and they started recording with a full orchestra instead of just the three string players, those three were demoted from band members to hired-hand touring musicians.

still, he and Kelly Groucutt were the only members that were part of all the incarnations of the group ( I dont think Bevan played in any incarnation of The Orchestra or Orkestra).....but they have Roy Wood being inducted. Yeah, ELO was a brainchild of Wood/Lynne but he bailed after the first album -- even made sport of them with Wizzard (Bend Over Beethoven, which was written by Hugh McDowell, cellist for both ELO and Wizzard)

would be nice if the RRHoF committee actually researched the history of the acts they induct

Do they really call themselves The Orchestra? Pretty good restraint, actually.

Yes, and they even have an album out, No Rewind, they put out in the 00s that sounds a lot like Beatles/hey-dey ELO

I get the impression that they just play sporadic shows here and there.

I'd like to see them tour with Jeff Lynne.
