    Good, lord.

You think we would try to fool everyone by not saying this is a compilation from previous DVDs, if that's what it was?

Say what?? When did this come out?
I was in 19/11/2014 and 20/11, is any of these shows featured?
How come Seventh didnt send an email about this?

They just got it, and I just ordered it (And then realized they also got the China DVD as well, so I have to go back and order that, too).

The china docu is great, I love it, it is very special (though dont expect too much music in it, it is not a concert film per-se)
and the triton Kohntarkozs was mind blowing, would love to see it again.

"...a now complete work, topped off with the bright blaze of a Grand Finale" ???
This is unclear, since the 'Funëhrarïum Kanht' (not quite the brightest music ever) was not played in these shows.

That's a shame - I was there on the 13th! Never mind, it's a must have so I have ordered a copy direct from 7th Records.

And holy shit, is it good! First, Philippe Bussonnet has to be hands down one of the great bassists. Just watching the first 2 minutes of KA shows how hard some of those lines are. And I swear I nearly cried watching James MacGaw's solo during Kohntarkosz, knowing that this would be one of his last shows with the band. They are on fire! And Benoit has more instruments up on stage than I have ever seen- marimbas, glockenspiel, tubular bells, drums and cymbals and gongs, kids' xylophone. Plus Julie Vander as well.

    Get this. Phenomenal!

If memory serves, he went on to play quite a few gigs with Magma, including tours of China, North America, etc., until he was forced to stop. I last saw him play with Magma in May 2015 (again at Le Triton), which was over six months after the performances caught on this DVD.

This being said, I understand & share your feelings, although I have yet to receive the DVD (I was at three of the shows, including one the first week which had Benoît Widemann on second keyboards).

Is there an actual newly composed grand finale or were they just advertising the first time all the works are together?

I'm a little confused maybe -- is this all compiled from material already on the Triton DVDs? Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Also, will Wayside and Laser's Edge have this China docu?
