No. The Alphabet Business Concern does not deem us worthy of the second Sea Nymphs album. They're like The Soup Nazi for music.

I couldn't make a mix without "Flap Off You Beak" on it - I mean they've done so many great ones but that song really blew my mind in a "never knew a pop song could sound like this" kind of way

A mix without the original Nurses Whispering Verses is like fish without chips, bread without butter, gin without tonic, salt without pepper...you get the picture.

That's been my favorite tune ever for about 6 months now.

I think the StG version is the one for me.

For me too. It has a rawness and intensity missing from the original (imho of course)

That's what so great about all us little fishies with our different Cardiacs' tastes. I don't like the raw, violent edge of the new one. I prefer the fragile, sparse, new wave beauty of the original.

I actually like both, but the "new" one just slays me. My son likes it too.

I've been noodling with a painting of Tim. Dan Sumption took a killer picture in 2007 so I figured why not... I havent done a painting straight up in a long time. Its a work in progress and I'm deciding on better brushes to use for angular strokes... I wanna push more energy and crazy into it and maybe a monochromatic touch later.

"Wireless" has a pretty intricate piano/keyboard part that I am just starting to notice. Check it out next time - just the keys. So great.

As much as I appreciate your interest, I would've preferred if you had responded it in the thread where I posted it, rather than moving it here. I create new posts in that thread occasionally so that new Cardiacs' fans can read some of the lesser known Cardiacs facts and trivia that are contained in that thread. Moving it here defeats that purpose.

You read it there, which proves that people read that thread, so why not simply respond to it there?

Would others wishing to partake please do it in its original thread rather than here. Thank you.

Hello fine Cardiacs fans... I have been in contact with several people over the weekend about possibly setting up a new fund raising event for Tim. You might have noticed above - the little painting I was making. I finished it Saturday and have been getting a huge response for prints and shirts of it. So... I figured if there is this much happiness involved... why not turn it into something great for Tim!

I'm trying to get a ballpark est... of how many people would be interested in owning a nice print or shirt of the painting. Details have yet to be worked out but a sample print might be 90cm X 90cm - not sure what materials... giclee? canvas? anyway... we need to gauge interest and I wanted to throw it out here too. Details are in flux really. If we can get at least 50 people sort of committed we can get this going - I have a lot of action on the Cardiacs FB page already so I know we can do some amount of turnover. If the numbers add up - I think we can make a few thousand for Tim easily.

I want a shirt! Either a small L or a big M. (confused yet?) My question is, can I buy direct from you? I don't really want to pay exorbitant shipping from the UK (again) ... but, my loyalty demands.
