I was surprised by this one too. I have the original, signed by Hogarth.

Vicky, do you know what extras if any might be on this?

I wouldn't be surprised if this will contain the same two bonustracks as on the Racket edition.

Any idea, Vicky, if Esoteric is the label that will re-release David Sancious' Just As I Thought in September?
One of us wrote in another thread that there would be a re-release, but no information was given.

Wow, I had actually forgotten about You Don't Need Anyone, because I haven't pulled out that HiE reissue in a long time. I'd forgotten that was a bonus track on the How We Live reissue, since I only have the original. So that version (the HWL one) is something I kinda need! How does it sound compared to Marillion's demo of it, and how is "Simon's Car?" Never heard that (and to be honest, How We Live is an album I don't feel the need to listen to very often - though h fans ought to have a copy!).

Are there going to any extras on this disc? I just picked up a Rhino reissue of this released in Japan, but I would rebuy if there some interesting extras on it.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Oh well, we have progress. Soon to be available in a much more affordable package.

By the way, I was reminded that the original Colosseum was rather a bit in debt to this man, of whom 3 members did recording studio sessions for his album. A couple of tracks from Jack Bruce's first solo album "Songs For A Tailor" were covered later by Colosseum (not to mention one being a huge hit for Mountain).

Also in August (unless it's now September) should be Barclay James Harvest -- Gone To Earth: Deluxe Expanded Edition

This Deluxe edition includes two CDs and a DVD, and features a new re-master of the original album mix, along with stunning brand new stereo and 5. 1 surround mix of the album. The set also includes new stereo and 5. 1 Surround sound mixes of an early, previously unreleased version of 'Loving is Easy', recorded during the album sessions. The DVD (which is region free and NTSC) also includes 96 kHz / 24-bit stereo re-mixes. In addition the set features new stereo & 5. 1 mixes of 'Our Kid's Kid' (B-side to the single of 'Hymn') and four other bonus tracks.

The reason I didnt add Gone to Earth is that it will be very first week in September due to a slight delay

Big thumbs up on the Colosseum now that Morituri costs a small fortune! I missed out on that one while it was affordable.

Are the two CD's in the Anthony Phillips 1984 set different from the 2008 Voiceprint re-issue ? (CD1:4 tracks, original version remastered/remixed by J.Dann , CD2: 12 tracks, early stage mix/alternate demo takes,...)

I don't really hear a difference. Even the booklet contains the same essays and photos, rearranged a bit but the same content.
The 5.1 DVD sounds great, though. Keeps me from feeling like a total sucker.
