Now that the shock and raw emotion has faded, somewhat, it's time to think about the future.
Here's what I would like to see: a new ELP!
Eddie Jobson, Lake and Palmer.
Yeah, yeah, I know that some will automatically gainsay this and some, after some thought, will also say no.
But, consideration this: both Palmer and Jobson still tour and Lake has come out semi-retirement to play. We know that Jobson has the chops to play the material and I, for one, would love to hear some electric violin in "Tarkus".
It doesn't have to be an on-going project but, at least, a one-off tour would give us a last chance to experience the magic of ELP. And, having another '70s prog icon in Jobson would generate more interest than a relative unknown player.
This would be big in Japan.
