Nice on Tom! Missed you in Montreal this spring but next time. FA, you need one with the Leafs for your Facebook (and mine).

While you're at it, you could always post "the official elimination song of the NHL playoffs"...

The Leafs golf season doesn't start until Saturday.

Just to add a little juice to Round 2, whenever that starts - Jason Spezza has started skating with the non-starters on the Senators! There's a very good chance that he could play in Round 2.

The usual tease from the Blues seems to be manifesting itself...

I don't see this ending well

I initially picked the Blues in our office pool, but changed my pick just before the deadline. There's something about them that's just not quite right, but I can't place it. (Note, I picked them to win the Western conference in the regular season pool.) As a Sen's fan, I still get a little jumpy whenever Brian Elliott is involved.

Next game is on Sunday... Mother's Day, Game 6, the Survivor Finale, and having my family over for dinner. I'm not sure yet exactly how we're going to balance all of that. It could get interesting.

The real Washington Capitals showed up this evening. They won in overtime in a game that should have been over by the third period.

The Red Wings almost blew it big time tonight. A 2 point lead half way through the 3rd period and let the Ducks come back and tie it up. Yet another overtime game, but stayed alive. On to game 7, this has been a hell of a series, especially for a first rounder.

Looks like the inevitavble is going to happen (10 minutes to go)...

And to make matters worse... my favorite goalie, Jaroslav Halak, might be on the way out of St Louis!

You gotta think at least for the present teams the Kings have the Blues number. They beat them 4 straight last year, swept the season series then take 4 -6 this year. I think maybe the Kings deserve some credit

I think it's a little of both. The Kings definitely know how to play the Blues. The Kings play with an urgency that the Blues just do not understand. If the Blues get ahead in a game ( especially against the Kings ), they become too full of themselves and ultimately lose. I saw this earlier in the year when they were ahead by several goals in LA and then proceeded to lose. It's times like this when I miss Al MacInnis the most - times when you need a respected leader that will fight to the death, an effort I just don't see from this team.

Damn, Rangers just can't win at Verizon Center! Better team won that game last night without question. Hopefully we get one more shot there...

It's not helping any that our supposing "big gun" Rick Nash is playing absolutely horrible in every phase of the game...the guy can't even stay up on his skates in an attempt to make a play.....1 assist in 5 games He should be benched!

I have to disagree there because in fairness to him, he's been double and triple teamed all series long. It's frustrating as hell for fans, but the guy is blanketed the minute he gets the puck. Me, I feel how you feel about Richards and Del Zotto. Richards has been useless and DZ I honestly think is an airhead. His decision making has been dreadful.
