    Malady- Finnish Retro Prog

    http://maladyband.bandcamp.com/album/malady

This band and link came up in the "What's New In Retro Prog" thread. A few of us instantly took to it, so I thought it deserved it's own thread to expose it to a larger audience. This has already become one of my favorite releases of 2015.

Sounds very good. Best Finnish "retro-prog" since Viima, to these ears.

I'm buying if there's a physical copy of some sort.

I just bought the FLAC files after I listened to the Bandcamp stream.

Both albums are great. Dunno if they're still around, though - their debut was out in 2007 (I believe)...

Since none of my regional vendors seem to stock this sucker (yet anyway), I'll probably end up being a Norwegian folky paying big shipping from the US instead.

I've only heard one track of theirs, I believe - posted in a previous thread in here, IIRC. I liked it well enough.

Thought I'd give this one a bump to see if we can't get more people to give it a spin and see what those of you who bought it think of it.. I'm getting decent mileage out of it and would be interested in more young bands doing something similar...

I'm sure I'll make a Wayside order some time around the new year.

I just got this in the mail from the Laser's Edge.

First listen. It should probably go into my top 10 for the year. Great stuff.
