    I think that's a rather extreme statement, but I do think that if you have The Unforgettable Fire and Achtung Baby, you probably have the essential U2.

    I agree, this is misplaced humility on behalf of the Cavanagh brothers. There are stylistic similarities between the bands - powerful soaring vocal passages, places where the voice holds a single note while lots of things are happening with the guitars and drums - but Anathema are far better at actually writing melodies.

    I was at the previous nights gig in Winchester, I love Anathema, this is a great live set.

    Cant stand U2 by the way

    Why not sell the CDs separately, then the DVD and the BR separately?
