    Hello Folks -

Nice Read... One of the top tier bands during this last 25 years.
Absolutely Gifted Professionals, very good live band, strong compositions, and nice 'sound'ing rcordings.

    Thanks to the Band members
And a Thank You for Steve F. for the Cuneiform involvement!

One of the great bands of the last 30 years, imo.

I saw them twice at NF, and then recently, in Seattle at Seaprog. A nice bunch of guys.

    This.

And an exemplary band as far as the 'small-p-meets-large-p' dynamic goes. Musically speaking (i.e. in terms of what it states and represents), they are probably among the 10-or-so defining progressive acts of the past 30 years.

    Wonderful interview - thanks!

Couldn't agree more. A friend and I shared a beer with a few of them at NEARfest after bumping into them in the hotel hallway and bonded over shared love of Rockbottom.

I've got Rencontres (1986) on vinyl. It's been years since I heard that one, and I'll have to revisit. There's even a smattering of Zeuhl in that opening track there. And vocals on side 2! I remember when I first got this in the early 90s, it was still considered a "fairly recent" release...
