Yeah, I'm interested because its Nolan (and Joy?) at the helm but i'm going to wait to see what reviews are generally like. But it's definitely on my list.

I actually liked they went minimal on the flashbacks. It left more room for new material, which combined with the fairly meta nature of the episode did leave me overall satisfied, although I wouldn't...
Nice. :up
I would say it's definitely worth the watch.
I misread Dead Like Me as Dead To Me, which I thought was a top notch ending.
I've also always been satisfied by Fraiser's ending. A perfect bow with a little bit of mystery at the end.
Part of me feels like he is setting up the end of Curb Your Enthusiasm to be very similar to the seinfeld ending. Which would be a very larry david thing to do. Of course, he could just be setting...
I don't disagree about the actors. Great performances by them for sure.
For me it has to do with the season basically being much ado about nothing. I don't mind that, in theory. Some cases aren't...
I'd place Season 4 second, just ahead of season 3. Season 1 is untouchable imo.
Veep.
Im somewhere in between, but closer to this. I prefer non-ambiguous endings, but I was satisfied with how the actual case was solved/transpired.
I am, although due to superbowl I still haven't watched the second episode yet. I did enjoy the first though. Feels very classic larry.
I didn't release there was only 6 episodes this season. That does make me a little more nervous. But overall agreed.
Agreed on True Detective. Wonderful atmosphere being created.
^ yes. Definite X Files vibes for me too
For me, Prime is easily the worst streaming service, and this just makes it even worse. Free quick shipping is really the only reason to have that thing.
Hopefully all this fuckery will be the...
Agreed. The pinnacle of the franchise and for me its not that close. DS9 maybe could have gotten there, but fell short in some aspects for me.
Interesting. Kind of assumed the series was dead.
Maybe this will spur me to pick up where I left off (after season 2).
I haven't watched last weeks episode yet, but I do like it thus far. I am wondering where its going though, but I'm enjoying the ride thus far.
Wow. I never thought I'd see the day. Not sure how to feel at first blush.
I"ll never understand removing your own content.
I as well liked the episode but it did feel extraneous to me. Didn't really advance plot and the seemingly most important thing was the letter Joel received, which didnt need a whole episode...
I'm kind of in this boat. I"m not really a fan of zombie horror survival genre but my roommate wanted to watch it (and got hooked by the first episode) so i'll continue with it, at lteast through...
According to the creators, they did have a five season arc preplanned from the beginning (or at least near the beginning).
A big shame. Season three was a bit piss, but I thought things improved nicely with season 4. Hopefully this will get picked up somewhere just to complete the final season.
^ finally!
I guess I need to watch White Lotus now.
I'm not sure if I would give it as lofty a personal score as seems to be general consensus, as there really wasn't that big 'wow' moment (or whatever you want to call it), but it was undeniably very...
I would like to watch it, but it isn't on any streaming service I currently have access to (if its on one at all).
Yep. Love Westworld and certainly wouldn't abandon it with two outstanding seaons and one weak one. This season is a pretty big thumbs up thus far.
It's not an expectations issue. While I enjoy star wars, I'm by no means a superfan of it, so I went into it without that baggage.
That's not an excuse, really.
The Mandalorian is great. Boba Fett was fine, basically unnecessary and uneven, but enjoyable.
^ I did not. The writing I found quite lacking.
Oh, I thought I read somewhere where it happened during the previous episode. But good to know. I'll be on the lookout for it.
Sadly my DVR bent over and took a hard one during recording so I...
Part of me thinks this is what they are building to.
Perhaps my favorite episode of the series. Fantastic episode all around.
^ Im going to wait until all the episodes are released so I can binge, but definitely looking forward to watching it as well.
Yep. I'm in as well. Hopefully they've fixed their mistakes from season 3 (although I am slightly worried that this season is also only 8 episodes), but I"m along for the ride regardless. Pretty good...
I would guess this is less about fame and more about money. I (would hope at least) assume they are being paid decent monies, and that's what really matters in todays world (sadly). I agree that I...
All three have been renewed.
Oh nice. Didn't realize this was a thing. Will watch soon.
Well, I'll give you the movies (although that skirts the realm of TV) but...much better shows is debatable. And no commercials is dependent. Also , if Netflix goes the way of charging for password...
Basically me.
I still have cable and am fine with it. Cable suits my needs more generally. Is it expensive? I suppose, but atm its not too bad. I suppose that can change at any moment, but same...
Oh good.
I may wait a couple weeks to be able to binge a couple episodes together though.
That is certainly a bold claim, but being mostly through the second season now, I definitely agree this is a step up from the first season and I am enjoying it massively.
Being Better Call Saul is starting its final season next month, I decided I might as well finally watch the show. After getting through season 1, is it wrong that I like it more when the story is...
Good to know. Although its been so long since I've watched season 2 I will definitely need a refresher.
Also, according to wikipedia, a fourth season has been written.
Yeah. Season 2 is way better than the first. The overall tone is still a bit confusing, but they've ironed out alot of issues that were there with season 1.
Is Upstart Crow on some service (other than britbox, I assume)? I would love to give that one a watch.
The best sitcom I've ever seen.
^ To be fair, humanity is a pile of festering shit that can't be properly portrayed in any other light.
Peep Show is my favorite sitcom ever.
I"ll give one thing to NBC's coverage of the olympics...I do like how they are putting other things (seemingly about half live) on versus their primetime coverage on the main network. At least I...
I did enjoy this show, but I was not a fan of how they changed the criteria for the finale. I thought it kinda screwed the team I thought was best throughout the competition. But aside from that, it...
Yeah...I only watched the first episode and I don't really have much desire to keep going. I may force myself to at least watch two or three more episodes, but given what you've and others have said,...
They've restarted production and are adding someone to the cast. (I don't remember the actor's name but he played an FBI agent in several episodes in the previous season. My guess is he takes...
^ yeah. Basically anything that wasn't done before the shutdown isn't going to be completed this year, and many of the traditional hour long drama shows either ended prematurely or will just delay...
I think having sex with panheads is more accurate.
I assumed it was bisexuality. (Or perhaps pansexuality, as that seems to be the new it thing.)
:up thanks for the heads up
