Here's an age check, to see if you remember what TV show theme it is.

Didn't the Invaders have a crooked finger or the like? Wasn't that the way you could identify them?

Ben Gazzarra plays Paul Bryan, a lawyer who learns he's terminally ill, with no more than 18 months to live, so he decides to do all the stuff he never had time for before. And much like Route 66 or other similar "travel" shows, he manages to get mixed in trouble every where he goes. The show ran for 3 years, even though Paul Bryan should have theoretically been dead in half that time.

They were able to take on human form, but they couldn't bend their pinkies.

Got it, but I cheated. Someone here knows I'm sure.

Luv sci-fi. What was their objective? Did they want the planet or were they like the aliens in "V"? Food and water?

Opening narration: "The Invaders, alien beings from a dying planet. Their destination: the Earth. Their purpose: to make it their world. David Vincent has seen them. For him, it began one lost night on a lonely country road, looking for a shortcut that he never found. It began with a closed deserted diner, and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey. It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy. Now David Vincent knows that the Invaders are here, that they have taken human form. Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world that the nightmare has already begun."

An easy trivia question is what other TV show later had Roy Thinnes appearing as a similar character, i.e. someone resisting an alien invasion?

Which is where the band Stiff Little Fingers got their name from.

    So did Aunt Bee.

    It was a lost episode.

So I watched the first three episodes of F-Troop last week. I suspect character and plots have pretty much peaked and everything else is just a variation - anyone care to convince me keep going? --Peter

Very weak show. It had its moments, but, aside from watching Wrangler Jane...

I will say it's about the only thing that Ken Berry did that I ever cared for.

    Nope.
When I used to hike regularly, it would be on at 5am when I was up getting ready. It got to where, rather than change channels, I didn't even turn the TV on in the kitchen before a hike.

My grandkids have discovered the Munsters... That show is really entertaining - slapstick aside, Fred Gwynn was fabulous, and the whole show is fun to binge watch. My wife went and bought the entire series on DVD - I think we will enjoy having it all. Sometimes I swear I just cant watch it, because its just too moronic, but then - I do. And I laugh right along with the laugh track.

Blaming the grandkids for this, but... I have to admit it...I'm hooked.
