Thread: What have they done?

  1. #51
I guess it would be Barry St. John who sing on many albums including Dark Side of the Moon, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Banana Moon, etc, etc...

You said someone could figure it out without knowing who Willie and Rose were though. How could someone possibly guess she was in NIL if they didn't know who she was? Anyway...

Swimming: what does it have to do with Prog? (Hint: it's not "I Go Swimming.")

Okay, here's one. There's a person referenced in here several times who has a prog connection, though not a musical one. You have to watch it, yes, but it's a really cool story.

You're right. He is the brother of Wolf Maahn. He also played with Gianna Nannini.

Stop Swimming (a song by porcupine Tree)
Not Drowning, Waving (an Australian semi-progressive rock group)
Fish (either Chris Squire or the guy from Marillion)

    I'm sure there are more.

Clue: The answer has nothing to do with Elton John.
    Ummm....
The poster in the corner is from Marx Brothers Go West, the same name as an 80s pop duo, in which one of the singers became the lead singer for Manfred Mann for 2 years.

    Did I try too hard?

"Go West" is also the name of a song by The Village People. They don't come much more prog than The Village People. Genesis may have started the thing with costumes in concert, but VP took it to a whole new level.
