There was one PP cartoon where he actually spoke at the end.

I was never much of a fan of T&J. The animation is great, but the same story time after time got old.

I have never been to Vegas, but I always said that, if I ever went there, I would drive through the Strip just to check it out and keep going into the desert and mountains, which interests me far more.

I have no interest in gambling or the gambling scene. Hell, I haven't even been to Atlantic City since the 1960s and decided to preserve my fond memories (including the famed Steel Pier Show) before it turned into a shit hole.
The Strip does have a lot of cool things other than gambling. All the Cirque shows(Love, man, it's the freaking Beatles), comedy clubs, concert houses with shows every night and such. I will concur, though, about getting out of Vegas and checking out Red Rocks Loop and things like that. There's even petroglyphs out there and up at Tule Springs they have found dinosaur remains. Many people think of the desert as devoid of life but it ain't, I assure you and can be beautiful if you really look.

I've watched too much Planet Earth over the years.

Dave In MA thanks for the link. Funny how I just spotted the thread on the front page. I'm so bloody blind these days that I couldn't find it in even my subscribed pages. It's a wonder I can even communicate these days in this medium because my eyes suck.

Crikey, now I don't even remember what I wanted to say in that thread.

I have seen several of the “Cirque” shows and agree, all of them I have seen have been great. The Beatles show is a must see for any Beatles fan in the city. My one complaint regarding some concerts and shows is sometimes they are cut short. The old casino policy of 90 minutes, then back to the slots, is still in place at some of the venues. It is the same with the casinos around my area often times too unfortunately.

Regarding outside of Vegas. Agree, Red Rock Canyon is well worth the short drive. We always make a trip up to Mt. Charleston too. It is only about an hour away, but a completely different world. Valley Of Fire State Park is only about an hour drive down the road too and well worth visiting. Of course the whole Lake Mead area is also cool.

We just saw one a few weeks ago. It was our third. The music is always fantastic, too.

I agree about the "Cirque du Soleil" shows with one exception - we saw Zumanity (about ten years ago) and found it a dud.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

Never saw that one, but have heard similar reviews from friends who saw it.

Even if you aren't a Beatles fan this has to be a must see. Unfortunately for me, even when I had the money to see it, I couldn't find a woman to go see it with me.

Screw that, If I'm going to that show, I'm taking some hot chick to see it and I couldn't care less if I got laid. I'll pay for the show and dinner.

I just wanna look good going into that and make everyone jealous of the old fat fart with the hot chick.
