I never liked Moon and always thought he needed to be reigned in, both in his playing and his silly antics.
But, I absolutely hate The Who, so there's that.

Quadrophenia is a desert island disc for me.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

Yes "We Have Heaven" & "South Side of the Sky" live at the Glastonbury festival 2003
You couldn't quite wait 50 years. The last few weeks became too much. Still, you can always bump the thread when the time comes.

I have that remastered, gold Fragile disk that came in a CD-size box, and CTTOI, that was probably the first “boxed set” I bought, and thus my first (CD-related) fondle.
I need to make a playlist of Fragile without the solo tracks, which kind of detract from the album for me. It’s more like an EP really.
Well, my intention was really not to hijack this thread. But, if you must ask, I cannot stand Daltrey. I think he's one of the most-overrated singers ever. I think Pete's a genius, but I also think they were a bit chaotic as a band with Moon's silliness, bashing and overuse of cymbals.

Fantastic memories of a wonderful afternoon in the sun, dancing away without a care in the world. It wasn’t a Yes crowd really, tickets were sold well before they were added to the bill, so it was fun for me to be the one in the know. I was stood right next to Jon’s son Damian, who was totally into it too.
Moon's chaotic playing is one of the best attributes of their music, to me.
I'm not near any good speakers at the moment, but that "We Have Heaven" & "South Side of the Sky" clip sounds like they're singing and playing over a backing tape of Anderson singing, no?
