Just heard on the radio. Traded for draft picks. I won't miss him but I wish him well.
Maybe Beeg Troble in Steel Town:

Look for Tomlin to take the fall for it, eventually.
Giants definitely have left many scratching their heads lately, but picking up Tate is very good. Maybe they are going for a bunch of 'B' players instead of a couple of stars. I don't really buy into the whole tanking idea to get good draft picks. If they were drafting well (excluding Barkley) in the last couple of years, they would not be in this position.
Can't quite wrap my head around it, but I think it's accurate, barring injuries:

Manziel winds up in the AAF.
Is anyone slightly interested in knowing just what the hell happened with him in the CFL to get BANNED from the whole effing league? He didn't just get "let go" he was banned from the league.
That's a cop-out.

are the Giants really sticking with Eli?!?
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Well just because he is on the roster doesn't mean they can't draft a QB. But I mean...at this rate, the giants should just embrace the full rebuild. Stick with Eli, stop signing anyone in free agency, try to acquire as much draft capital for the future as possible. Tip toeing between it will only lengthen the process.

Could be a little of that winning in march effect, but I'd agree. Pittsburgh is the weakest it's been for years, Baltimore has many defections and essentially a rookie QB to worry about with a new GM in place (although signing Thomas was a good move), and no one in their right mind would think Cincy has anything about an average squad this year. Browns aren't perfect of course (another outside receiver and some additional defensive help would be nice), but comparatively they certainly have the arrow pointed upward. Biggest issues for them IMO are the first time head coach and Mayfield's continued development (with team chemistry being a distant third).

Miami seems to have a "Only guys named Ryan can QB here" policy.

More like a "Only guys named Ryan who can barely QB here" policy.
I stand corrected.
