I haven't watched the whole thing, but so far there are a lot of songs where I didn't know the cover versions, only the original. But there are some surprises. The Troggs song that Wet Wet Wet covered, I only know it from the movie Love Actually.

Yeah, it covers 80 bands - a lot of covers! I like it when the cover sounds better than the original. For example, Lenny Kravitz's American Women is likely better than the original by the Guess Who. Even that I prefer the Guess Who to Lenny. There are lots of others.

It's weird, a lot of the video has nothing to do with the 80s. They'll show a song from the 70s, then the original from earlier for example. But it's definitely fun to watch.
