Hopefully their Japanese tour with Mel Collins will be featured on a CD just like the one with David Cross was.

There was a mention of a Japan-only CD pressing. So if it follows the Midori pattern, we may get a repackaging in this hemisphere in another year and a half.

^ that's a pretty small picture, but it appears as if the trend held! Any time frame in terms of release?

Just got notice from Bandcamp that there's a new consolidation of the two Stick Men shows from Japan with Mel Collins that are available for download into one 2CD compilation, on CD, LP, and download. Since the download costs the same as buying downloads of the two shows, I'm wondering how good an experience this compilation will be.

Mel Collins: bad for King Crimson, bad for you.

    A compilation?

The image of the back of the CD seems to show the same 18 tracks as the whole download, and the same 9+9 tracks as the individual downloads.

As an aside I have to say they've really stepped up the quality of their artwork lately.

I guess they confused me by unnecessarily identifying which performance the versions of Level 5 and Prog Noir are from, and by unnecessarily selling the download of the combined set (since both were already available for download).

I like "A Sailor's Tale" just fine. It does feel somewhat like a prototype version of the Larks' Tongues songs, but still good in its own right. I'll be mildly disappointed if they don't play it.

Thanks. It seems I'll soon be a fugitive from the surprisingly numerous (i.e., plural!) defenders of "The Letters". If I slag off "Cat Food" I'm done for...
