Pretty interesting episode.
**************SPOILERS********************
(Just in case someone comes along and doesn't expect any)
The part where Michonne had her new "pets" and was walking with that pack of walkers was creepy as hell! What do you think was the deal exactly with the black woman (walker) she killed first? It just looked like her so it creeped her out/she wanted to end her misery? Then she lost it and took them all down (not that that's a bad thing.)
Some stupid-ass moves from Carl in this episode.
From what I saw on Talking Dead, killing the lookalike is what triggered an epiphany for Michonne. She has defaulted back to her old self before coming to the prison and it's a wake up call seeing what she could have been

Pudding is awesome!
"That gum you like is going to come back in style."
Great episode!
That Carl stuff harkened back to some of Romero's best.
This show works better for me with very little dialogue.
no tunes, no dynamics, no nosebone
Yeah, I enjoyed it too. I didn't know or recognize that was Herschel's head on the ground until I watched TWD Talk show thing. I felt I needed a recap almost of what had happened previously, but caught up pretty quickly. I'll be good to see what happens to the other survivors of the prison. How did Herschel's head get out there anyone know?
On Talking Dead they said Michonne went searching for it where she last saw Hershel.

Great start to the season. I wonder if this will be the story of how the group finds themselves again with storylines following different factions. I particularly enjoyed Carl getting humbled, the spoiled little snot. The dad in me really hopes that Judith is ok ..... I can't stand to see that empty car seat anymore.
Point of observation - If I was in an apocalypse I'd prioritize bathing. Probably something like this - sustenance, sleep, bathing, everything else. I thought for sure that Rick was going to clean-up and put on some fresh "borrowed" clothes. No one is using there clothes anymore, why not change daily?!? Sheesh!

I was wondering about the necessities of life angle too. You'd think they bath more, Carl's hair looked like greasy slop, but I guess that's more to portray their predicament. Then too, it's hard to about the quality of water in such a world. There would be no one to run the water plants etc. What I wondered though, or one of my priorities would be to find more weapons and bullets. I'd think out of 25 households, there's got to be a gun in the house to be found. The more guns and ammo the better. But basically I'd want: water, food, guns/ammo, & maybe a place to hold up in .
Here's a webcomic about zombies if anyone is interested: http://thrillbent.com/comics/luther/#1
My wife and I are currently shopping for a new house and I keep noticing gun safes in just about every basement. I never realized just how many people have a shotgun, rifle, pistol, etc. in their posession, whether they actively shoot them or not. And I DON'T live in the woods, but on rural Long Island. I think in a zombie apocalypse it would be fairly easy to find a gun and ammo amidst a group of homes.

A gentleman is defined as someone who knows how to play the accordion, and doesn't.
There would be no bath water, showers, to clean off in. You would either have to find a small lake, or better - find a local rec center with an indoor pool, like a YMCA. Every town usually has a park district pool.
Although, the premise of the show is somewhat like "Gilligan's Island", in that they avoid using logic so they can further the story. Best would be to go to the ocean and set sail to a remote island, or go up to higher ground, a mountain area where Zombies are unable to climb up to. The mountains probably would be better because you would have more access to go back down and get more supplies, food, etc., if needed. An island may have limited resources, but you could fish all the time and survive pretty well. The show however, seems to want the stars to barricade themselves in Zombie Central and make exciting adventures every week.

And how come there isn't more hot, naked chick zombies? Not everyone dies with their clothes on??

For a show with enormous scenes of R-rated violence, they're really avoiding sex and nudity of any kind. Scene one of the next episode should be Maggie washing up in a creek. Or for the ladies, Darryl.

Ah just climb a tree. That always works...right?
Loved the episode.
