I've been getting that intermittently. I guess the special day is proving a bit too popular for their servers to handle.

Slow but working. Good problem to have I guess if it's caused by ravenous music consumers clamoring for product. I'll certainly take the opportunity today to purchase a bunch of Cuneiform stuff that's been a bit further down on my list, although usually I opt for the physical product, I'd like to put a few nickels in the hands of the (now more than ever) proverbial struggling artists if at all possible. Thanks to Bandcamp and SF for the added discount. I think little acts of kindness and support go a long way now. Good on 'ya mate.

I recently picked this as my favourite album of the last ten years.

Which means little, except that I like it

Have you watched Vertighost? - the film Vertigo, with the Madeleine as the soundtrack (with dialogue rendered in subtitles)? It's an extraordinary experience!

If you lack Secret Chiefs 3 (and don't want to splurge for their physical media with awesome artwork), I recommend this: https://secretchiefsthree.bandcamp.com/album/book-m

I purchased the 2 CDs by Kant Freud Kafka, which were already on my radar. I'll see about a few others tonight.

    I actually haven't...though clearly I should.

My intended buying spree has been made rather slower and more frustrating by the web site issues, but I’ve managed to buy a bunch of albums just the same.

Ach! I hope they extend this. I can't make these Internet things work!
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

  10. #35
They definitely need to extend as it’s been a nightmare experience.

I managed to get the new Chimpanzee A and new Rustin Man, but I had others in my cart and gave up in frustration, as it was taking me through one by one on PayPal, and kept crashing.

Wow...good thing I'm an early riser. I was online + working by around 6 AM, bought about a dozen things and had them all downloaded before 7:30

That said...YAY that so many people went out to show some support/love via BC
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

I have a wishlist a mile long, and I hadn't bought much in a while. With some patience and refreshing of pages, I've grabbed about 40 downloads today (many were just a dollar or so).

I'm trying to purchase some stuff and I just can't get through checkout.... Their servers seem to be half-collapsed.

Never saw that one before, that I can remember.

I've had that a few times before when they've been extra busy. Keep trying, it should work in due time (FWIW)

    Meaning tomorrow?

  19. #44
I spoke too soon. I have been unable to download the last few albums. At least the purchases went through.

The ones that required PayPal were an extra pain. I wish they'd do away with that.

    Good stuff here: https://andytangent.bandcamp.com/

Andy has released some pretty rare live and oop Tangent albums, as well as solo and early Po90 albums for download.

    Picked up -

Forgas Band Phenomena - L'Oreille Electrique
All Traps on Earth - A Drop of Light
Bill Nelson/Reeves Gabrels - Fantastic Guitars
Tiger Moth Tales - The Depths of Winter

With a recent vacation to pay off on the credit card that was as much as I was able to spend - but looking forward to all of them.
