Just got Steve Howe's Love Is yesterday. Tomorrow I should be getting Vinnie Moore's newest, Soul Shifter. He was a lot of fun at the last UFO tour. Waiting for Black Swan's Shake the World. I tried for about the fourth or fifth time to get Downes Braide Association's debut album Pictures of You with no luck. Few of these newest albums/cds I was going to get befire the pandemic, but I waited. Support your favorite artists and bands.
Pictures of YOU by DBA was in my mailbox today. Fourth or fifth time ordering is a charm.

A in the late 70's a friend ( who at the time was younger than 18 ) had a bunch of Glass recordings. He called them 'Music for Vacuuming' ( That would be Music in 12 Parts ).
I didn't care for it much back then. When I saw Glass, Eighth Blackbird, Nico Muhly, and Maya Beiser perform some of it at Big Ears it was sublime. Would do again.

Arrived yesterday
Asia - s/t (Have it on vinyl, but decided to buy the CD. I have some live-albums, which are not that great, one has a guitar-solo by Steve Howe, which is spoiled by a screeming audience, the other one sounds rather distorted, while the synthesizer sounds like a plastic toy-saxophone)
In Extremo - Kompass zur Sonne (luxery edition, which looks great, but doesn't fit between my other CD's)
Kansas- The absence of presence
I bought the LP when it was released and enjoyed it a lot those days. But I never got me a CD-version (which caused a period of many years I didn't listen to the complete album) until I finally saw a fine Japanese one. Brought back good memories; there are some fine moments on it, especially when Wetton sings about emotional matters. I guess there's just one weaker track on it (One Step Closer).
Paradise Cinema - Paradise Cinema
Tigran Hamasyan - The Call Within
Tigran Hamasyan - Mockroot
Ghost Rhythms - Imaginary Mountains
Mange Ferraille - Erba spontanea
Don Caballero - American Don
Tyshawn Sorey - Unfiltered
