There have also been rumors floating around Kalamazoo for the last year or so that if the MSU position ever came up that PJ Fleck would jump ship in Gopher land and move to Lansing. Again, all rumor, but PJ's X-wife and kids still live in Michigan and he kept his home here too which he still uses in the summer.

Regardless, he was one of Sparty's better coaches and they will likely remember him fondly.

Hard to see Fickell in that position, but who knows? If you're climbing the tree...
Fickell just turned them down. Looks like he will be staying with the Bearcats.

Fickell is hoping Ryan Day flames out.

    Good luck with that.

Rumor has it that Mel Tucker from Colorado is the next MSU coach. Not a name I heard floating out there much.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

The first, but almost certainly not the last. It escapes me how anyone can think that football is a sport that can safely be played during the pandemic.

Several games on TV today. Watched a bit of the Marshal, Army and SMU games. Marshal appeared to have fans in the stands all distanced from each other. On the other hand Tennessee had 40+ COVID positives today and has suspended practice.

The Hurricanes are being eaten alive by the Tigers of Clemson.

A lot of non-competitive games today. I didn't watch the afternoon games, instead I went to Masthead for their latest can release, which will be some sublime drinking, but was mighty hard on the wallet. I sorta watched Miami-Clemson, but it was a mismatch.

Since the Big 10 and MAC are not playing up here yet we are getting a lot of SEC games. I watched a good chunk of the Bama / Ole Miss game last night. I felt like I was watching the MAC. No defense at all. Bama won't be able to get away with that down the line.

Clemson is not hanging in there with Boston College.... Yeah Trevor is in quarantine but never seen Clemson dominated like this (at home).

Also watching the battle of Michigan (Spartans vs. Wolverines).
