another one-album wonders
Their bass player, Marco Cerletti, made a solo album with his Chapman-Stick. One of the few solo-Stick-albums I really like (and I say that as a Stick player)...

although the British bands like Genesis, Yes, Van Der Graaf Generator, King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Gentle Giant have set up thе *progressive rock* genre framework quite narrow, there were still enough space for each European nation to add something to its own, isn't?
yup
Will have to investigate
You evil Dothraki
has his Deaubourg incarnation been banned, or is he opening a double profile?
not prog... clone rock.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
I really like the Blue Motion album as well
and I'll add these:
Vollenweider, Andreas Dancing with the Lion
Floyd Hunchback Group
Gruntz, George 2001 Keys Piano Conclave
Thønk Earth Vision Impact
I actually like a few of Vollenweider's albums. He gets unjustly maligned as "New Age" often, but his music goes beyond those trappings
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
even the real cheeseheads (the duth kaaskop have a few holes in their gouda, and the Leerdammer beats the Emmenthal in terms of size and numbers of holes)
TBH, Sicher reminds me a bit of early Flairck
As for Gradonfly , Dreams shot down in Flames, this late symph prog of the late-70's and early-80's remind me too much of neo-prog... Like Clepsydra with those whiny vocals.
Strike 2, Svettie... This is about the better swiss cheese, not the worst.... And placing your fake home-base inside the 27 Cantons won't help.

lol i've been reading this forum's threads for a while before my registration and i have found that you're very funny ones.Strike 2, Svettie... This is about the better swiss cheese, not the worst.... And placing your fake home-base inside the 27 Cantons won't help.
why are you obsessed with Svetonio? i mean, don't you call every new member "Svetonio"?
another album with a lot of piano. also if you're a fan of mellotron, this album would be a great stuff for you.

Nautilus would be a nice thing for the fans of "dramatic" progressive rock

Almost everything posted here is old stuff. So what are the current Swiss progressive rock bands? Anything interesting?
let me guess, XerXes are a decent find even for the most demanding researchers of the early 90's prog metal

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
