Assuming that the Bolts hit the golf course soon, I’ll be lending my considerable fan skills to the Isles.

Are the Blue Jackets really this good,or are the Bolts just playing that poorly. I think the BJ's had the Caps down 2-0 last year before they finally woke up.

^ The trades made at the trade deadline are starting to pay off, and the 19 year old Frenchman who is playing well was not on the team during the regular season.
They're well coached, don't take stupid penalties, and as Yves noted, they've been in playoff mode for weeks. Add in Bob upping the level of his play, and you have a team that could make a run. Or it could all unravel at any time.

BJs are good. Look at that roster, especially the forwards. These guys are legit challengers coming together at the right time.

Bolts are playing afraid... afraid that they have everything to lose, being cup favorites, and in doing so, making it a reality. But, to be honest, while people talk about our ‘stacked roster’ I think about 15 of our 20 skaters are only average NHLers or worse. And even the big 5 seem to lack the grit in the heat of the playoffs. We don’t have anyone like a Foligno or Josh Anderson. In short, we’re not as good as we thought nor as our regular season indicated.

I’ll gladly revise this if they surprise everyone and win the next four in a row.

Envious. Imagine that would cost BIG bucks otherwise.

But that’s the whole point! By not winning the cup we improve our draft position, so all is well.

I only know the approximate location of the seats. Original price would be $600 - $750 each, depending on the exact location. Secondary market price would be at least double that.

    A full report will follow.

Friggin Flamin' Cs just cannot do absolutely anything remotely near 'correct' versus the Avs tonight as of end of 2nd.

    Very shocking.

Teddy V - does Stevie Y come down to the locker room and essentially tell them " I ain't going out like this...do your effin job!" ? Or is BriseBois really in charge at this point?

JBB is definitely the man in charge although a plea from Steve Y. would probably have greater effect. Unfortunately, Bolts' personnel don't seem to be the kind inclined to fiery speeches.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but it looks like these teams traded uniforms before this series began. It's really looking that way tonight.

If you're not watching Jackets-Bolts tonight, you're missing an incredible game.

What a stunner. Good for the jackets though. First series win comes against the president trophy winners in a sweep. Madness.
