Bought it yesterday. I had been meaning to check out some of the Yo Miles! stuff anyway. Good timing!

You'll also need Sky Garden on Cuneiform, and the debut on Shanachie, and don't forget to grab the shows off the Wayback Machine's live music archive.

Just got back from a jazz gig we played, glad I made it in time! I heard a few tracks last night in headphones - this album kicks some major ass! I love the sonics too - a really terrific production - at least to my ears. In a way its like hearing Bitches Brew with 2005 technology. Thanks man

Been spinning this....man this thing flippin smokes! Really really great on many levels, but the playing and the overall vibe really feels like an updated Miles date. Fantastic record.

It seems that the Upriver physical release is no longer available new.
If you have the other 3 releases, only tracks 4,5,6 and 5 of these last two releases are new, so you should be able to just buy those. JK's Review: https://www.allaboutjazz.com/yo-mile...ohn-kelman.php

This weekend's album is "What You Will" by Ahleuchatistas!

    1. You should read this one even if you have no interest in Ahleuchatistas because it contains possibly my best - ever "How'd you discover THAT band story"

    2. Remember, you need to put the code FIVE in to get the special price!

Purchased. Thanks for the heads up!

The only disc I have from Birdsongs of the Mesozoic is The Iridium Controversy, which is very cool. I've been meaning to get more of their stuff anyway, so this is great.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I got the Elton Dean Quintet one last week too. Nice!

Oh man, if I didn't already have it on CD I'd be all over this.

Steve, this was one you suggested in the Canterbury Binge 2017 thread and it was because of you that I ended up buying the CD.

    Great album -- and at $5 it's a steal.
