I think it is a fantastic album. Even a bit more dense and, dare I say, 'avant' then her previous album.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Mmmhhh!!!... according to the text on Bandcamp, most of this music was recorded in 2016 (some of it even dating - written, at least - back as far as 2013), so we may yet see another album soon (I'm extrapolating here)

"Undercover" is a great piece of art without a doubt and Lawrence Leathers was the drummer in the video as in the eclectic/good album "Fifth" (2016): he was found dead in the Bronx this year, he was only 37 years old!. (RIP)

There's a new Ibrahim Malouf album out called S3NS. It is a bit of a mixed bag with a couple oftracks surprisingly leightweight and forgettable.

Still; the last track is worth the price of purchase alone. Here it is

Seeing him life in Paradiso, Amsterdam this sunday btw.

Great guitarsolo by Gigi Cifarelli - kind of Larry Coryell'ish.

    Nice. Thanks for sharing!

Has anyone heard this live set from Enrico Rava, Joe Lovano and group? It's very well done with a split of songs written by Rava and others by Lovano, with one Coltrane credit slipped in.

    WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.

This cd has been a keeper here for years.Recently dusted it off and gave it a spin.Still dig it.Two reeds(Louis Sclavis and Joe Lovano) guitar, bass (Henri Texier)and drums.Nothing earth shattering but just good music, imo.
