Wasn't the high point of Michael J Fox's career his part as Joan Jett's love interest in Light Of Day?

It was definitely Midnight Madness, with David Naughton.

Also, he played Joan Jett's brother.

I thought it was High School U.S.A.

By the way... in Light Of Day they were brother & sister...

But at least he got to sing a Bruce Springsteen song, written especially for the movie. Shot in Cleveland, but you'd never know it, unless you'd ever been to the Euclid Tavern (which at the time, I hadn't, I was only about 12, the rest of the movie could have been shot in any city).

Since we seem to be randomly shouting the titles of Michael J. Fox movies, there's always Secret To My Success. I never actually saw that movie, but I remember the title song was done by Night Ranger. Now, I think some of you guys know I like Night Ranger, but this was around the things started going south with that band. I have the album that song was on around here, Big Life, album number four, and while you may find it hard to believe, it's nowhere near as good as the first three Night Ranger albums.

Secret To My Success has a good melody in the chorus, I like that bit, but the rest of the song is kinda stupid, but what else would you expect from a song that was written as theme to a tacky 80's comedy?! I mean, it's still better than that Frank Stallone song from Stayin' Alive.

Just saw a commercial for The Happy Time Murders. It looks to be a Jim Henson Studios thing and even though they didn't show any of the movie in the clip it looks to be kinda cool. I'm intrigued.

They did a good job with the clip, interviews with the "cast", a bunch of muppet looking characters. Looks to be completely stupid, which I love.

All you need to know is that the lovely Helen Slater is in it. See also Ruthless People, Legend of Billie Jean etc

Great one. I actually like him a lot, and just about anything he's been in, Doc Hollywood included. I'm a BTTF kid forever!

The featured movies in tonight's episode of Better Call Saul were a Cagney flick and Jaws 3, which Jimmy had to be corrected about the title as it's actually Jaws 3D.

Just the fact that they threw that movie, of all they could have picked, and it's been on this thread the last few pages, amazes me. Timing, it's everything, right? Just ask Artie Fufkin.

Helen Slater looked so hot in that outfit. I wonder if Peter O'Toole ever asked himself, "How the bloody hell did I end up in that stupid movie?!".

re: Ruthless People, LOVE that movie. Very funny picture.

Fox was in a movie called Greedy with Kirk Douglas and the yummy Nancy Travis. I'll always pause the channel surfing to watch this one.
