My question is, I have the deluxe 4-disk set (2 CD, 2 BD), and it looks a little different from the photo on John's review. The one in the review looks to be a square book, 12 x 12. Mine is much smaller (like the size of a trade paperback, but also the hardback book format.

Ooh, and it cost $50.38 from Amazon in 2014 - just checked the order. Ouch!

I've already got the single disc Blu Ray. Aside from having the 2 CDs of the concert, which I guess are nice if you absolutely want to play the concert in your car, how different is the theatrical BR vs the regular concert BR? Is it just the additional interviews and a few bonus videos? And it sounds like they cut some songs from the theatrical version, which makes it less interesting to me.

The deluxe is only 5x7-ish. I cannot recall where the picture came from. Sorry for any confusion!

Perhaps because I have purchased Genesis concert CD's from the Encore series in the past, I received an email from themusic.com where they adverstised year-end special prices on Genesis, The Who, and Peter Gabriel Encore series CD's.
I ordered and received the two-CD October 13 2012 recording of the Back to Front show I saw at Mohegan Sun casino (Uncasville, CT) for $7.50 and shipping.
I received it yesterday and listened to Disc 1. A very nice soundboard recording; clear vocal; clear recording of Manu Katache's drum work; an overall great live recording

That is a helluva band, but I think the 1977 band (Levin, Fripp ["Rhodes"], Hunter, Fast, Schwartzberg, Maelin and Aaberg) was at least close, though very different. More of a rock-out band, really: "subtle like a mallet", as Rick Nielsen once put it.
