Would Present Have Made It Without Kerman Drumming With Barbie Dolls?

I don't think so... The band was all about gimmicks.

They've made it into my CD collection.
They made it into France last year for RIO.

I actually saw them at a vegetarian coffee house here in Chattanooga the same night prince was in town and they were great! But the drummer was the show ;-) He had this gimmick of going around the room and playing on tables and stuff. Didn't even see the Barbies.

Would Glass Hammer have made if they didn't perform wearing only one sock each, you know where?

Scientifically speaking, yeah - Present only truly made it after Kerman came aboard with those barbies, as reflected in the sudden jump into wild sales of No. 6 and High Infidelity. Also evidenced in this quote from local DJ Gumbjutijve at Nuuk central radio station: '"Souls for Sale" theoretically went top-40, but practically we couldn't play all 28 minutes of it on our daily Inuit Fun Show with Gumbju. Besides, those Trigaux lyrics had to be censored due to eskimo language not having words for "kill", "war", "death" or "evil".'

Dully noted that Kerman The Toad is now toying with real-life barbies (at least one in Aranis) >> he was spotted at a concert of theirs on his way to the Zappanales on the Baltic sea with Present in his trailer...

Ken Dolls would just not have cut it.
“Pleasure and pain can be experienced simultaneously,” she said, gently massaging my back as we listened to her Coldplay CD.
