Anthony Phillips Cherry Red TV interview now up

Great new extended face to face interview with Anthony Phillips is now up on Cherry Red TV. Go to www.cherryred.tv ---- interviews and then the "artist" tab. There is a part 1 and a part 2. Hope you enjoy it guys--we did!

Any of you who are members on any Genesis related forums /facebooks etc, please do share for me, it would be most appreciated.

It wont be on You Tube for a short while I believe, so the Cherry Red TV site is the place to go.

Listening now -- fascinating stuff, considering his time with Genesis is already so thoroughly documented.

    Thanks, Vicky!

Thanks for the links. Loved hearing how Peter's in-between songs stories came about.

So Anthony was advised to quit Genesis by his doctor because of illnesses on the road.

The Knife was named that because the keyboard part sounded like The Nice.

Watched the whole thing - great interview ! I was lucky to interview Anthony at his home some years ago and it's a treat to have someone so inclined to enthusiastically and truthfully discuss all aspects and eras of his career. I urge everyone to watch this, it's a couple of hours well spent.

Umm, that's not what I heard. Yeah, the music was inspired by The Nice, but the lyrics (and I assume title as well) were Pete's satirical take on a revolutionary figure.

One of my favourites. I bought the "XV Anniversary Edition" (with bonus DVD), despite already having the entire album as disc 1 of All Our Lives. Hopefully this one sees the light of day again.
