Progeezer is actually a Highlander, and vanquishes other immortals during prog-rock light shows.

I've been told some women love to get naked and dance to Roundabout, apparently there's proof. But still a myth for me.

Also, I saw the guy who looks like Jesus in the white robes once at a concert. He sold me some blotter, and I saw a whole lot more for another day and a half.......... Or that whole scenario was my vision on a mescaline high I had back in 77. Hummmmm a trip within a trip... Not sure how this story relates to the topic but there was prog involved, I am sure of it.
Of course, not being of the daily persuasion in this opinion laden public prog bathhouse, my diatribe of recent lucubration is perhaps as welcome as a rats teat. One often is forced to weigh the desire to flash judgment within against the effort required as well as the value this knowledge will be to the greater good of all mankind or whatever inhabits the current spa. At best, its a slippery slope.

Phil Collins watching someone drowning, then writing In The Air Tonight.

Ozzie Osbourne biting off the head of a bat on stage. Oh wait that one may actually be true.

The minstrel Marillion in the books Song of Ice and Fire is named after the band.

'Gates of Delirium' is based on Tolstoy's War and Peace.

Alice Cooper passed around a chalice and audience members spit in it and he drank the sputum filled chalice.

It is true. Ozzy said someone threw it onstage, and he thought it was a rubber bat. Then after the concert, had to get I forget how many shots for the rabies or whatever.

And while we're at it, he also bit the head off a dove during a record company conference, also.

If we may step out of the rock realm for a second, I recall reading that there was a rumor at one point that porn star turned disco queen Andrea True was born a man. There were so many people who bought into that it spawned a further rumor that Andrea True wasn't born a man.

Wasn't there talk at some stage that Mick and Keith had something to do with Brian Jones' death?

Also talk that John Lennon and Brian Epstein had an affair?

Lou Reed meant Metal Machine Music as a great big one fingered salute to his record company.

Pat Metheny meant Zero Tolerance For Silence as a one fingered salute to his record company.

I'd probably be the same if I had to live with his wife.

You have to have been in the UK at the time. Bob Holness was a well known radio actor and TV quiz host.

And their other "hit" Dracula's Tango. Those girls was stunners, every one of them! I knew Roz Holness when she was running a new age shop in the King's Road in the 90s.

Three that I heard in high school:

    1. Ginger Baker injected LSD into his brain and had less than a year to live (that was in 1968).

    2. Mark Farner got boo'ed so bad at a Grand Funk concert, that he put his guitar down, said, "If anyone can play better, let him come up here," to which Eric Clapton stepped out of the audience.

    3. There was a Monterey curse. That explains why so many performers and famous attendees (Brian Jones being one) of that '67 fest died young.
    Lou

Looking forward to my day in court.

Some of us were lucky enough to DL that one when it came out. It's no myth.

My wife and I were at a Rush concert and during Roll the Bones she started dancing on the landing by our seats. I think some Rush fans behind us swooned at the sight of an actual woman at a Rush show and others were outraged that she actually made Roll the Bones interesting.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
