Finally ordered this yesterday. Haven't heard samples, but how bad could it be, really? Sean's done a lot to bring the joy of music in my life - the least I can do is contribute to this endeavor. I'm down for a CD and shirt.
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
Just finished listening to the whole album and I really like it. I was privy to hear early mixes of two songs (mixes NOT done by Kernon) and I have to say that employing Kernon to do the mix was a masterstroke. He basically took the songs to another level. Favourite tunes for me so far are Continental Blue and Globetrekker. Sean, where you channeling Phil Miller in that last song?
He's come up a few times as people have been listening to this one. I can't say he's a direct influence, though I love those albums he is on so maybe subliminally. Thanks for checking it out!!

Today is the day the CDs arrive! I will post a link to order them once the dust settles.

Not sure if this is the appropriate thread to ask this question, but since my question revolves around a word in this thread, here goes: What are "camples"? How do they differ from "samples"? Seriously, is it an inside joke? I don't think it's a typo since I've seen the phrase on PE before. Just curious. Thanks.
Shipping them soon, then?

I suspect they will ship next week, yes. They are supposed to arrive to me today, but UPS is dragging it's feet.
Camples are samples you can only listen to while sitting in a tent.

Here's an alternate shot.
If I already ordered a download, but would like to upgrade to a CD, is there a way to do that? Just a CD, I don't really need a shirt.
Drop me an email and we will figure something out.
Downloads should be up in about a week too.
This is really cool Like Neil Normans cosmic orchestra go prog jazz. Love it
Nice fusion feel
Made my contribution, looking forward to it. Hope you blew the house down last night!
Thanks, all! Last night was a great time at the CD release show. I really appreciate everyone that made it by. This was one of our first triple bills with the jam band scene here and I found them really nice and very receptive. I admit, we didn't jam like they did, we just played our tunes with a little bit of improv. 45 minute sets don't allow much more. LOL But that's fine. "Hit it and quit it" as they say.... I think our sound straddles the line between prog and jam in a cool way and that's a good thing since there isn't much of a prog scene here anyway. Sometimes we seem a bit caffeinated in comparison to these jam acts, but they seem to dig our pace.
We played with a local group, Voodoo Visionary, which did some funky jams and some tight and soulful covers. My fave of which was a spot on version of "Tell me something good", that Rufus tune written by Stevie Wonder. Love some Stevie anyway, so.... The headliner was The Groove Orient out of Orlando. They had a bit more of a soul angle, their bass player looked 20 and sounded about 50. It was funny to hear such a deep voice come out of a young fella like that. They played some tight jams that built to a frenzy and some torchy, mid tempo slow burners.
One thing I dig about that jam scene is most have a good appreciation for vintage keyboard tones. Lats night was no exception. They brought a Hammond, a Leslie and a Rhodes up from FL, which they kindly let our guy use as well. So it was an evening that exceeded our expectations! Our guy Bill has that red Korg that sounds fantatsic when it comes to vintage emulations, but to have the real thing there instaed was great.
We look to get Kickstarter tees and CDs in the mail within the week. Give us a couple days for the dust to settle and we will get them to you all asap!
Here's a couple pics from the show....

Prime time bump! Had a great show Saturday! ^^^^
https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/docsc/sh/53iCq5 Just wanted to share this once more. We are a little over 2/3rds to our goal and what we have gotten so far has been extremely helpful (thank you!!!!!) but we do need to wrap up a few more expenses so if any of you have yet to get in on this, please help! We have some nice perks at each level. We should have the merch in the mail this weekend, btw, roughly, for any of you that gave or plan to.
You can hear the whole CD here as well- https://soundcloud.com/story-of-a-li...m-mastered-mix Try it before you buy it!
NEW INTERVIEW!
We recently were interviewed by Sea Of Tranquility and it was an interesting look back at the origins of the band- we started back in '97- played, wrote, recorded and then disbanded while our drummer was distracted for ten years getting married and then divorced. He didn't play for years while he was busy being henpecked. We fell out of touch and it was pure luck we hooked up again in 2009 and finally got a chance to do what we always intended to do. It's a pretty cool story, the way it all happened and I enjoyed having a chance to chronicle it in a way I never thought to before.
There's also a lot of info about the current lineup, the players and the events that happened as we wrote and recorded the new CD. Hope you enjoy it...
